Beyond Tennis is a mobile app that blends virtual tennis gameplay with AI-driven simulations, allowing users to manage players’ careers and training. Designed for Gen Z and tennis enthusiasts, it creates a dynamic, personalised gaming experience. As a UI designer on this project, my role was to create a high-fidelity user interface system based on the wireframes and branding guidelines provided by the Tennis Australia team.

Approach & challanges
The approach involved thoroughly reviewing the provided branding to ensure a deep understanding of the project’s design direction, adhering to digital accessibility standards, and creating a polished, high-fidelity UI that balanced aesthetics with functionality.
UI concepts were presented to the client for feedback, and based on this and further interactions, the final design direction was established. This was then applied across the wireframes provided by the client.
The design process required collaboration with the development team to ensure that all design elements were technically feasible within the React framework and aligned with the app’s dynamic elements.
A key challenge was ensuring that the UI was both visually engaging and functional, supporting the AI-driven components of the game.

The final result was a high-fidelity mobile UI design that provided users with an engaging and seamless gaming experience, along with a set of UI components for further app development or potential changes.
